Frequently Asked Questions

what's the difference between A FOODBANK and the food partnership?

Eastbourne Food Partnership and Eastbourne Foodbank have a shared goal to eradicate hunger in our communities. Eastbourne Foodbank provide three days emergency food, as well as a range of support services to people with a referral voucher. The Foodbank also joins with the national network of Trussell Trust foodbanks to campaign to put an end to poverty and the need for foodbanks. See their website for more info.

Whilst eradicating poverty is a key to Eastbourne Food Partnership’s agenda, we work to build food security on a wider level, from more resilient local supply chains to developing food skills and resources in the community. We also work to build communities and connections through food, creating a joyful and vibrant food culture in Eastbourne.
