We are delighted to announce the publication of our ‘Value of Veg’ report, sharing community stories and recommendations for happier, healthier, veg futures for Eastbourne.
The report reflects the diversity of benefits from growing, cooking, storing, sharing and eating veg with community-led recommendations at every level, from individual to national government. Our research has reaffirmed Eastbourne Food Partnership’s commitment to building better networks for sharing experiences, skills and resources around veg – as well as sharing veg itself! Check out our ‘veg pledges’ to see what we’re talking about, and add your own Veg Pledge to our charter
Sofia Parente, head of Local Action at Sustain, said in her foreword that “This report is an important calling-card for organisations across Eastbourne to get involved in the Veg Cities Eastbourne campaign and work together to ensure everyone across the borough has access to veg”.
With thanks to our partners at Sustainable Food Places for their Veg Cities grant that made this work possible.
