Veg Cities
We want to see more veg grown, cooked, eaten and shared by Eastbourne communities. From policy documents, to growing resources, we’re doing all we can to get veg at the centre of how we think about food.
Alliance for Dignified Food Support
While community food support is currently crucial for those in need, it falls well short of addressing the disparity between the cost of living, wages and welfare support. We are calling for an honest public discussion that centres the dignity of people accessing community food support.
School Food For All
Just like desks, books and bathrooms, every child deserves a nutritious meal at school. We join Sustain’s call to SAY YES to School Food for All
PROJECTS
Good Food Movement
Our project to aims to build on the wonderful work being done by affordable food projects. By celebrating expertise already existing in the community, we’re building a toolkit to support the creation of community food hubs that combine access to affordable food with participation in a joyful and diverse food culture.
